Revelation

Help me understand what Your “Lordship” means in my life. Describe for me those areas of my life where I retain control after I declare You my “Lord”.

I know the “All or Nothing” answer to this question…but surely You can trust me with some of life’s issues…can’t, You?

The better question is, “How much of my life do I want to trust to my judgement?”

I’ve learned over and over that Your ways define my best options, yet I regularly want things my way. I can sing boastfully, joining with Frank Sinatra and the rest of America… “I Did It My Way”

I need Your help to never revisit this issue again. You are the best boss I could ever have. Help me demonstrate Your Lordship to others.

Scripture: “They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.” Revelation 17:14

For Justice to reign, absolute standards must exist. If the standards are subject to individual interpretation, then justice loses. Our system has become subject to the whims of arbitrators and there is no justice in America.

What is just in California is unjust in Oklahoma. What is a crime in Wyoming is not criminal in New York. It is self-evident that mankind cannot administer justice.

God’s unchanging word establishes what is just…but even then, arrogant men bicker over the meaning of words to twist justice to serve their purposes.

The Creator does not waver and the day of His justice is fast approaching. A day when His unchanging justice will be administered.

Give me voice to call those lost in the darkness to Your light before it’s too late.

Scripture: “And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15

You know the beginning from the end. Every day the headlines seem drawn directly from Your description of the final days. I don’t pretend to know Your mind but I want to pray Your will.

As we mock the cross; ignore Scripture; treat each other with great disdain; disrespect the sanctity of life and abandon any pretense of godliness; hope for restoration seems beyond reach.

So, even though America may have descended beyond the point of rescue and You may be returning soon for Your children…I will continue to pray for Your mercy on the lost generations living without hope or purpose.

If You restore America or rescue Your family, either way, I win. I leave behind a better place or I leave for a better place; but my heart is burdened for those who, having been deceived will miss heaven.
