Lord, Strength of my Salvation
Rescue me from deception. Protect me from those who mock Your truth in their hearts and stir up discord all day long. They sharpen their tongues like snakes; the venom of vipers drips from their lips.
Guard America from the hands of those who only desire her downfall. May no slanderer be established in the land. Keep us safe from those who’s deceit causes many to be blinded and lost. I know You uphold justice for the poor and defend the cause of the needy. Hear my cry for help. Shield my heart and give me courage in the day of battle.
Thank You for the absolute assurance through Christ, that I will dwell with the upright in Your presence forever.
