Traditional families were Your safeguard for societal order and passing on truth from generation to generation. Mothers and fathers were to provide a home where children were nurtured and protected.

Children were never intended to be trinkets on a charm bracelet…instead to be our future. Too often in our country today when the task of parenting becomes difficult, we are prone to abandon them hoping the issues will “just go away” or turning them over to secular “experts” to fix them with drugs or even demeaning surgery.

The abuse of innocent children by “professionals” is rampant all across my country. Shine the light of Your truth on these lies taking root…bring Your justice swiftly to these child abusers.

Use me…let my voice become part of a chorus of truth.

Scripture: “These words I am commanding you today are to be upon your hearts. You shall teach them diligently to your children and speak of them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”  Deuteronomy 6:6-7

You designed the nuclear family as the cornerstone of a stable and functioning society.

The home was the place to raise, nurture and develop the next generation and the next and the next.

By Your design, Mothers and Fathers, functioning together was the way to ensure healthy children and communities. In their home children could grow to become responsible adults.

For decades we have ignored two-parent homes as the cornerstone for passing on truth to future generations.

We mocked the marriage covenant; undercut the father’s role and enticed women to seek fulfillment in the world. The result is generations of children adrift…unprepared for adulthood. Then we wonder at the breakdown of social order. We are shocked at what our children…and their children have become.

Oh, Lord, rescue our children from our irresponsible life choices. May the next generation lead us back to a future of stable homes, peace, and community.

At a recent family reunion, I watched as my 4-year-old grandson settled into his 24-year-old uncle’s lap to play video games together on a tablet. They hadn’t seen each other for more than a year. It was an amazing portrait of family.

The movie, “The Lion King” focused attention on how You intend for families to function…one generation helping the next learn truth and set behavioral expectations. The central song, “The Circle of Life” inspired many of us to fulfill this generational obligation and build solid families. Today in America our young children are at greater risk than at any time in my lifetime…because of our failure to embrace the “Circle of Life” and abandon our children to the cruelty of a dark culture.

Rescue our kids!

Thank You for all the dedicated Home School families committed to giving their children a sound education based on a Biblical worldview.

America’s public schools have…sometimes with surprising malice…worked diligently to separate children from their parents’ influence. Home School children, by any measurable cultural or academic standard far exceed the performance of their contemporaries.

Father, I ask You to bless the Home School communities across America. Most of these families have assumed the challenge of raising their families on a single income to ensure their children are well educated with both the knowledge of truth and the capacity to solve problems using critical thinking skills.

America’s future is brighter the larger the contingent of Home Schooled adults in her population. Bless these families that they might be a blessing to America.

Why am I shocked that each new day brings new threats to families and children across America?

In the recent past, the FBI labeled parents concerned enough to show up at school boards to engage their local leaders…”domestic terrorists”.

From that flashpoint, a grassroots movement of parents has grown up in 45 states (and growing). They (Moms for Liberty) are now being labelled a “hate group” for daring to challenge public schools over falling Math, English, Civics and reading scores…not to mention the issue of right and wrong.

Their slogan is “We don’t co-parent with the government”, obviously they’re a dangerous group.

Our Creator specifically assigned the education and training of children to their parents.

Empower parents to become the front-line defense for our children. Let me help.
