Prayers for Special Days | Inspire & Ignite

Father of My Hope and My Future

Today I close the book on 2025 and begin a new challenge. May the New Year blow away every dream!

I’m praying that the use of the Inspire and Ignite prayer app will grow exponentially.

I’m praying for the I and I team that the new functions we plan to add will provide incentives to promote consistency and accountability in our efforts. May our round table chat rooms energize community involvement in daily prayer.

Lord, help me to remain faithful to the call on my heart to advance Your Kingdom…please use me in 2026 to advance the I&I effort.

AMEN

Father of Unity and Order

Daily Prayer, Prayers for Special Days

I recognize I have a civic duty to vote. I must vote for the men and women who will be our political leaders for at least the next two years.

I am struggling with my choices. It seems everywhere I look we are divided, angry, and surrounded by chaos. My country and my community are in desperate need of wisdom…of leaders committed and capable of healing our land and restoring unity.

The enemy is delighted with the mess we’ve made of things. He is committed to keeping us divided and distrustful of our neighbors, You are our source of grace, unity, and forgiveness.

Lord, guide this election to find and elect peacemakers with an appreciation of our common history and capable of restoring unity to our fractured communities.

MARANATHA AMEN

God Above all Government

Daily Prayer, Prayers for Special Days

We face the important task of voting for the future leaders of our country soon, I come before You asking for Your wisdom in how to cast my vote.

Lord, bring to my attention the critical information I need to cast an informed vote in the upcoming election.

I know that no power in the universe can force a man or woman into a position of authority that You don’t allow. I am deeply concerned about the course of my country and my community…so, I asked for wisdom from above to guide me as I seek to responsibly fulfill my duty as a citizen to vote for the best candidate for each office.

Thank You for the security of knowing my ultimate future is in Your hands and neither party owns my destiny.

AMEN

Scripture: “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy. James 3:17
