Lord of the First Response
Today we remember with deep sadness…but with great admiration, those amazing first responders who raced fearlessly into the burning Twin Towers to rescue fellow America’s trapped by in an unimaginable hell created by evil men.
Their bravery is worthy of our honor. Many lost their lives and many more have lived with lifelong physical debilitation…but many more were saved. They braved the flames for fellow Americans they didn’t even know because they valued human life beyond their own.
Father, when Your Son was executed to rescue the human race from the consequences of the foolish idea we don’t need You, He became the ultimate first responder and the model for each of us to follow.
Without Christ, we are all trapped in the burning Twin Towers of hell.
