Your word is the truth…and I can rely on it but the world despises truth. We cannot handle the truth…only the “woke” narrative gets a hearing.
Decades ago we abandoned the concept of truth. In today’s America 2+2 does not equal 4. Instead, everyone is entitled to their own truth. Being called a liar today in the public square is like being called ugly by a wart hog…because truth has no place in America. Without indisputable truth, what passes for public discourse is simply the vain babbling of men.
The integrity of my words is critical to discerning my character. Help me to walk with integrity in all I do. Help me accept Your truth regardless of how it impacts me personally. Without truth, there is no trust. Without trust, we cannot heal our vast divides.
Restore honest discourse to our land.
