By Your spoken word, the universe was created and You oversee the smallest details of life. There is nothing outside Your notice.
You divinely inspired our founders to bring forth America as a fresh wind of liberty for the human race.
But we have allowed this shining city of hope for all mankind to become sullied by corruption. Our political system at every level is filled with selfish and arrogant people of both parties. They serve themselves without regard for “We the people”.
Our sickness is so deeply embedded, it seems beyond our political system to repair.
Lord, only You can heal our country…we’re in need of a heart transplant. Please restore our sense of community…and let it begin in my heart.
