Source of all Peace

Daily Prayer

At every hand, there is no peace…no joy. How have we fallen so far so quickly from Your shelter and blessing?

We have let the government impose a godless reign on the country. Our politicians, our media, and our elites have declared there is no place for You in our laws, our culture. our communities. You have in righteousness removed Your protections from us.

We are vulnerable to every deceitful and dark lie that presents itself as the solution. Abandoning Your guidance, we desperately seek answers from a lost and fallen world.

Please shine the light of truth on all the deceit and evil that has overtaken us.

Lord, there are many blinded and confused. Please apply Your mercy and rescue us from the darkness that blinds us.

AMEN

Merciful Father

Daily Prayer

As fallen human beings, we have pretty much made a hot mess of everything beautiful You gave us. I am brokenhearted to know how I have taken Your gifts for granted and assumed I was entitled to Your blessing. You reached down and rescued me from myself.

Now, I am surrounded by lost and ungrateful people and the fabric of our society is being ripped apart by jealousy, personal egos, and anger at the failures we’ve made of our lives.

Father, You are the source of all purpose peace, and joy. We need You to re-establish an understanding of the forgiveness available through Christ and a humility that will allow us to consider others first…regardless of our own needs.

Awaken across America and fresh breeze of community and unity in You.

AMEN

King of Kings

Daily Prayer

By Your spoken word, the universe was created and You oversee the smallest details of life. There is nothing outside Your notice.

You divinely inspired our founders to bring forth America as a fresh wind of liberty for the human race.

But we have allowed this shining city of hope for all mankind to become sullied by corruption. Our political system at every level is filled with selfish and arrogant people of both parties. They serve themselves without regard for “We the people”.

Our sickness is so deeply embedded, it seems beyond our political system to repair.

Lord, only You can heal our country…we’re in need of a heart transplant. Please restore our sense of community…and let it begin in my heart.

AMEN

Scripture: “Cruel rulers are not your allies, those who make oppressive laws. They conspire against the blameless and condemn to death the innocent. But the Lord will protect me, and my God will shelter me.” Psalms 94:20-22

Source of all Truth

Daily Prayer

Thank You for being my never changing North Star, guiding me in the way of truth and honor. Without Your wisdom to guide me, I would wander lost in darkness. You revealed the way of security and peace.

But, Father, all around me have become dependent upon human wisdom and cannot understand the chaos that seems to be everywhere they turn.

But the greatest human minds, the most skilled Cray computer programmers, the wisest Ivy league professors the most admired philosophers have no understanding
without You. If we learn upon the brightest among us to cure our depravity we are indeed lost.

You alone are the wellspring of truth and wisdom. Guide me in the way of blessing and help me show others the way.

Creator of Life

Daily Prayer

I know You’re brokenhearted for all those being murdered in America’s inner cities.

Gangs, cartel members and ruthless essentially fatherless young men are destroying innocent lives. Black-on-black homicides have more than doubled in the last 12 months and the savagery continues unabated.

As a result of our loss of respect for the intrinsic value of life, we are seeing unprecedented numbers of innocent people being attacked and killed.

This anger and violence are the product of an American society that has lost its way.

Life is no longer sacred. From the womb to the baby carriage to the schools, to the streets, we deny the sanctity of life at every level.

We seek answers in human wisdom, but only You can end the carnage and bring peace.

AMEN

Scripture: Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Romans 12:17

Author of Scripture

Daily Prayer

You are the source of all hope and redemption for us. Your word is full of promises for
our well-being.

You promise abundant life. You promise to meet all our needs. You promise to protect
us from evil. You promise to guide us through the storms of life. You have never
failed. All Your promises are fulfilled in Christ.

Thank You for the assurance we can have in Your love for us. You have our well being
before You constantly.

Father, You are the only solution to the issues we face. Involve Yourself in our day-to-
day lives and show us the mighty power of heaven.

To which we say together, “Amen” agreeing with all Your children. “So be it!”

Father of love and unity

Daily Prayer

I am eternally grateful that You do not play favorites. You have invited everyone to join You at the family table. You offer a banquet feast for all who will join You.
But today in America, we are divided so badly, mutual respect seem impossible to achieve.

The enemy has been so successful in sowing seeds of distrust and anger among us that pursuing our national motto “From many, one” seems a fool’s errand.

I know the truth, yet sometimes I find it very difficult to remember we don’t wrestle against those with whom we disagree, but with the prince of darkness who has blinded them.

Without compromise, let me be a peacekeeper and team builder in these dark times.

Creator of Life and Giver of Hope

Daily Prayer

I cannot imagine life without the hope You give. All around me are people desperate for escape from a life without any meaning beyond their own ease and pleasure. Their every new experience only leads to more hopelessness. Hedonism is not purpose…ease is not fulfillment.

Lord Your are the answer…only You can meet our deepest needs. Everything else leaves broken promises and emptiness.

Have mercy on those who have been blinded by the glitter and glamour of this world.

Send Your Holy Spirit to reveal the lies and deceit of the enemy and show us the way back into the sunlight of Your blessings.

Help me see with Your eyes and love with Your heart…I desire to be part of the solution…not simply a silent bystander.

God of Compassion

Daily Prayer

You have shown Your love and forgiveness throughout history. You have demonstrated Your mercy towards me over and over.

I ask You to show Your mercy to those so tragically impacted by the situation at our southern border. Those coming from such terrible situations hoping to find a better life. Those in America devastated by the flow of drugs destroying lives and families. The children used as pawns by the coyotes, mercilessly abandoned once they’ve served their purpose.

The disrespect for our immigration laws is encouraging our society to resort to mob rule. It is a tragedy beyond words.

Only You can rescue those trapped in this cycle of hopelessness.

Help me show compassion for all those suffering through this crisis.

AMEN

Scripture: “But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.” Psalm 86:15

Daily Prayer

Your compassion for the innocent and most vulnerable among us is unchallenged.

I come to You with a heavy heart for the infants and children in America whose
innocence and purity are being stolen from them by selfish adults who care more about their agendas than they do about the young and vulnerable.

Restore a time when elder generations sacrificed for the younger, committed to their safety and their futures as a matter of first priorities. That is no longer true.

Raise up a protective barrier and restore a time when childhood was about learning and growing and loving. A time when predators were restricted from using children for their own agendas.

With You the miraculous is possible. Protect the innocent children from the ravages of our sinful and fallen nature.
