Father of All Logic and Truth

Daily Prayer

I know that Scripture contains all truth…and I want to walk with integrity.

Help me to rightly discern What Would Jesus Do?

I want to be loving without enabling…to be accepting without embracing. I know I should not respond intemperately or with disdain. I know I should be slow to speak and I should not react before thinking…but I fail so often. I know that love and acceptance both require speaking the unpopular truth. I know my response should be gentle and kind. I know I’m not trying to win a debate…but I fail so often.

Father, give me the wisdom and the temperament to engage the deceptions and lies without destroying souls…without closing the door on future opportunities for influence…Teach me when to silence my tongue for the sake of Your Kingdom.

Our Standard Setter

Daily Prayer

I am grateful for the guardrails You set in place to guide me into wise decisions and healthy relationships. Obedience is my gateway to Your blessings.

But in America today we find Your “old fashioned” ways too restricting…we don’t need Your help deciding right and wrong. As a result of our decisions to abandon Your standards, institute social justice reforms minimizing the consequences of crime and our embrace of a social media that spawns evil, we have children murdering children. The Independence Day and Uvalde killers were both teenagers without parental guidance and robbed by Social media of their humanity…but we blame the guns…not the depraved hearts Silicon Valley is creating.

Without guiding moral principles, is right and wrong to be decided by the latest Tic-Tok influencer?

Father, the darkness envelops us…help us find our way back to Your light.

Protector of my Soul

Daily Prayer

Since I’ve come to know You as my king, I have known more peace than I thought possible. You have secured my eternity my soul is safe in Your hands.

As I read the headlines and watch the news, it has become abundantly clear that there is a battle raging all around me for the soul of America. A battle
that darkness seems to be winning.

I come to You for the sake of so many blinded and desperate souls being systematically misled by our social media, our educators, those in position to protect our unique heritage…those whose intent seems to be to take as many souls as possible into a hopeless eternity.

I am willing to fight, but only You have the power to overcome this spiritual enemy. We need You desperately…help.

Bridegroom of Heaven

Daily Prayer

If I look with eyes wide open, I am disappointed, as I know You are, with the American church.

Please bring judgment against the snake oil salesmen and false prophets who have so deceived Your people. Protect Your “bride”; that remnant remaining engaged in mortal combat against the enemies of truth and justice. I ask your protection today for Your prophets speaking truth to power at great risk. I pray You will give them the courage to stand against the cancel culture mob that threatens their livelihoods, their families, and their flocks…enhance their voices…give them favor with Your children and empower them to make a difference. Use them to lead a great awakening.

Your people…revived…are the only hope for America’s future…send Your spirit, the source of true revival.

Loving Father,

Daily Prayer

I cannot understand the vitriol and rebellion rampant in America against You.

In 1962 the courts removed prayer from public schools. In 1963 they removed Scripture from public schools. That marked the beginning of the decline of American students’ standardized test scores and the decline of our literacy standing in the industrialized world. Ten years later, the courts enshrined in law the legality of killing unborn children. So, for at least 50 years, we have been asking You to leave our public square and let us manage our own affairs without You…and look at the terrible mess we’ve made.

Today I call out, “Do not turn Your back on us”. Return in a bold, dramatic fashion. We are not capable of living together in unity without You. Show Yourself mighty…humble us…rescue us.

Source of Our Victory

Daily Prayer

“Give me help against the adversary.” Please help me to keep your commandments, loving you with all my heart, soul, mind and strength, and loving my neighbor as myself!

America has been a very giving people reaching out to our world. At the risk of life and liberty we have taken Your gospel to the ends of the earth and have given food, clothing, and financial support to millions across the globe. Lord, please enable us to continue to be a people of generosity.

We face “enemies…adversaries from within”, who seek to discredit You and to defeat Your plan and purposes.

As King David prayed: “Oh give us help against the adversary, for deliverance by man is in vain. Maranatha Lord, please come quickly!

Infant Messiah

Daily Prayer

Today is the day of our salvation. Christ the King has come into the world to rescue the lost and dying. His birth, life, crucifixion and resurrection destroyed the enemy’s plans and his power to intimidate us into submission…today’s celebration marks the birth of an infant, but much more, the birth of our eternal freedom.

He came…not as a conquering ruler, but as a baby born of lowly parents without noble lineage or wealth or fame, yet He is the only hope of all mankind. Kneel before His eternal throne…shout His praises…join the everlasting chorus glorifying His name….Jesus Christ, our hope for all eternity. Without Him we are horribly lost…with Him we are gloriously redeemed.

“Thank You” is totally insufficient. Merry Christmas!

Father of my Salvation

Daily Prayer

It seems a perfect metaphor. The day following one of the darkest days of the year…in the midst of winter’s cold surrounded by barren, seemingly lifeless trees and without a glimmer of hope for tomorrow, we choose to celebrate Christmas. Into a dark, lost and desperate world, You sent Your Son to bring light and salvation to mankind.

Jesus is our first responder…He is our hope for eternal joy…He is our escape from the dark grasp of the prince of this earth. Hallelujah! We are rescued…our future is secure.
To all who will accept God’s gracious gift of forgiveness and restoration, Christmas Is the greatest celebration of all. Our independence day has been declared.

Without Jesus, no peace…with Jesus know peace.

Creator of all Knowledge

Daily Prayer

To fill the emptiness at the center of our existence, America has turned to science to answer the essential questions of life.

But, science is limited to the observable. If truth is beyond natural law…if it is supernatural…then science can do no more than stand in awe of that great beyond. Science has no answer for “Why do I exist?” …a roll of the dice is insufficient. Science has no answer for the origins of the universe…the big bang is unsatisfactory. Science has no answer for the existence of a “moral law” that separates us from the animals. The answer for the emptiness in the soul of America…and all the other questions science cannot resolve is found in a single word: GOD.

Thank You for filling my empty center and providing the answer to what lies beyond science.

Lord of Heaven and Earth

Daily Prayer

Holy is your Name and great are You to be praised!! I come to you this day with a heavy heart, watching America and her culture disintegrating and becoming a 21st Babylon rocked by division, deception, and corruption.

As your child, I sense we have, like the Israelites of old, been “exiled” to a place of hedonism and debauchery. Teach me…teach Your children, to pray for your mercy, forgiveness, and long-suffering towards America. Restore us to You, our first love. We are hopelessly lost. Please call us back to the faith and moral compass of our founding forefathers. Shed Your Light of Salvation on our Nation, so that millions might believe and be saved.

Use me to accomplish Your purposes.
