A Tale Of Two Kings

Far away in time past a story grew about a young king, King Arthur who dreamed of reigning over a utopian kingdom where all citizens were equal, enjoyed personal freedom and lived at peace….that dream was called Camelot.

To defend Camelot, King Arthur recruited trustworthy and like-minded knights…brave hearted warriors to join him at his round table of brotherhood to defend Camelot ensuring she would not be overcome by darkness. Although King Arthur and his round table is an intriguing and uplifting myth…the reality of that dream took birth on the shores of our continent as a new nation carved a nation from the wilderness.

America became an imperfect embodiment of King Arthur’s Camelot. Imperfect because of the frailties of humanity…but a noble dream began to emerge based on the truth…”all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. Among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness”.

While the legend of King Arthur and the knights of the round table is challenging; we face a greater challenge today. The uniquely American Dream is under assault.

Today, the King of Kings is recruiting His knights…to come together at His round table of prayer warriors to defend the American dream. His call is to men and women empowered by their faith and unafraid to take on the darkness that has descended on America and lift a united voice to the throne of heaven calling for the King of Kings to lead us in the spiritual battle against the darkness that threatens to overwhelm our country.

“O Lord, inspire and ignite us today that we might serve your kingdom well as Prayer Warriors to engage the darkness that threatens to overwhelm the noble story of America.”

A Movement of Prayer Warriors United to Inspire and Ignite America

Inspire & Ignite (I & I) exists for the purpose of building a team of Prayer Warriors committed to raising a united voice to the throne of Heaven asking for the hand of God to intercede to restore America.

We acknowledge that only our Creator can change the nation’s course currently being set by the Prince of Darkness.

The call to join this movement involves a call to face three Biblical challenges: Personal, Community and National challenges. I & I is asking those of us concerned about the direction our country is headed to commit to face each of these challenges head on using the I & I website and tools provided.

Individually, none of us can have much influence on what the future our nation will look like for future generations. BUT, together as an army of Prayer Warriors, we can make a difference!

Personal Challenge

"I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one."
Ezekiel 22:30 (NLT)

Community Challenge

"But now I said to them, 'You know very well what trouble we are in. Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire. Let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem and end this disgrace!'."
Nehemiah 2:17 (NLT)

National Challenge

"Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NLT)

Today's Daily Prayer

Father, I need your strength and wisdom…

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today humbled by the opportunity to have access to your throne and secure in the knowledge that you welcome me with grace and love.
I come concerned for America, she has lost her way. Darkness and evil seem to be winning and we need your light to reveal the depravity we have embraced and we need your truth to find our way. Show yourself powerful and restrain the enemy.
Father, I need your strength and wisdom. Please help me represent your love and grace to those who need you today. May I be salt and light to those I meet in the course of my everyday routine.
In Jesus name I ask these things,
Amen

God is listening. Speak Up

It is a sad truth that many (most?) believers consider prayer the last option in a crisis or life issue. All too often we turn first to the other readily available sources; friends, TV, pop psychology, the latest trends in culture…all usually offering worldly, secular answers on finances; relationships; parenting; dependency issues…the list is endless.

“I’ve tried everything I know to do…I guess we ought to pray.”

Why Pray

Do you realize you’ve been given direct access to the throne of the Creator of the universe? The Messiah is the only “Gate Keeper”and it is His sacrifice at Calvary on the cross. Your acceptance of His gift of forgiveness gave you the right to go straight to your heavenly father any time, day or night.

It is really hard to be proud of your humility.

Please join my family.

The First Prayer that Gets God’s Attention

Can just anyone…anyone anywhere pray and expect God to respond? Some only resort to prayer in desperation…from the “foxholes” of life…others see God as the “big vending machine in the sky”…Just drop another quarter in and press whatever button you choose.
